“Amrit was very honest in her thoughts about what was worth spending money on and what wasn’t. This is so important as Indian weddings in particular can get pricey quickly, and she kept everyone’s heads in perspective about what was really important to us and our guests. Prior to booking her, my husband and I filled out a questionnaire on ourselves and our ideas for our events. Amrit really utilized this information, as well as photos of my outfits and my decor inspiration photos to create spaces that were stunning and unique to my husband and I. My absolute favorite thing about working with Amrit is she really cared about my opinion. Planners I had worked with on previous events usually went with their own ideas rather than asking for my opinion, but Amrit gave several options to me and our families, and welcomed feedback. Her process is iterative and as long as you are honest with her, the result is amazing. During the actual events, Amrit really went above and beyond what I had expected. Her planning timelines are SO accurate. My biggest fear about our wedding was that things would run late (like a typical Indian wedding) but with Amrit’s detailed timeline, everything went exactly according to schedule. My husband and I and our families never once felt rushed. The transition from performances to dinner at our sangeet, and cocktails to speeches to dinner to dancing at our reception was seamless because of Amrit and her crew. “This is a long overdue review, but as we gear up to finally take our honeymoon in Anguilla, I thought I should acknowledge the hard work and dedication of Anais Events and Amrit in making our wedding so memorable. When planning our wedding, I was searching for someone who can translate my thoughts and images into a realistic endeavor. Initially talking to Amrit, the easiest way to describe my perception of her was that ‘she got it’. One of the most important attributes of having a traditional wedding abroad is to be able to capture the best of both worlds, understanding the logistics, the different work ethics and all the nitty gritty details. Amrit handles this with ease. We used a lot of novice vendors and Amrit guided them through the whole process. She is very upfront about the ramifications of different options, providing guidance throughout the overwhelming task at hand. The organizational and planning aspects of Anais Events are evident from having a hassle free, stress free extraordinary wedding. 
Too much cannot be said about the design aspect of working with Anais Events. The whole affair came across as classy, unique and glamorous as so much effort was put into every detail. Because of certain limitations, we had to have an indoor wedding and have a room flip from the ceremony to the reception, despite my hesitation. Firstly, with the floral arrangements, Amrit brought the feel of being outdoors. Secondly, the most common comment I from guests at the wedding was that they didn’t feel like they were in the same room for the reception. Amrit completely transformed it and in such a short time. Walking into the ceremony and walking into the reception were both jaw-dropping experiences.
